Crayfung

Sometimes the animal kingdom has cruel jokes played on it by deceitful plant life, which brings us to the Crayshroom, which is a hybrid of sorts. A fungus that feeds only on crayfish... and only one species at that.  The fungus has infultrated all of them, creating what can only be described as a most curious abomination.  The fungus has not completely taken over, as it cannot control the crayfish's movement.  However, it does influence what it can see by leaning it's cap to one side or the other.  One of these are quite harmless to humans, but many can be deadly.  The mushroom drops thousands of spores, which can put prey to sleep, then the crayfish can make fast work of dissassembly.  Enough of them can make the strongest human nod off.
